Curriculum
The Southwest Safety Net Embedded Scientist Training and Research (SSNE-STaR) Center offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to prepare scholars for excellence in patient-centered outcomes research (PCOR) and comparative effectiveness research (CER). Our two-year program combines rigorous academic training with practical and hands-on research experience.
The required coursework includes foundational training in biostatistics and research methodology, as well as two elective courses that scholars can choose to align with their specific research interests.
